These are just some of what some High School students did on Martin Luther King Day.
High School English Teacher Marla Brazier and History Teacher Jewell Watson-Hellkamp challenged their ninth graders to volunteer in their communities on National Service Day, January 18th, in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
More than 53% of the freshmen met the challenge.
