Engineering Students Build Wind Turbines

Engineering students watched the movie "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind" based on the true story of William Kamkwamba of Malawi and emulated his actions by building wind turbines. They used voltmeters to test which wind blades designs generated the most electricity and tried to light up a sound and light board.. Continuing with the renewable energy unit, students are currently building solar cars.
