Highlighting Lab's Newest Alums - The Class of 2023
Over the next few weeks, Lisa McMahon, Director of Alumni Engagement, will highlight Lab's newest alumni and wish them the very best as they venture on to college and career opportunities.
Lab wishes Cole Kido the best as he returns to Loyola Marymount University this fall to continue his studies in filmmaking. A two-time student in Lab’s Upper School Digital Filmmaking class, Mr. Irvine described Cole as a gifted storyteller who possesses an understanding of camera operation, composition, and lighting. Cole put his skills to use directing and editing a promotional video for Vida Senior Center, collaborating on volunteer training videos with the production team at Capitol Hill Village, and editing guided meditation videos for Learning In Action. During summer programs at Boston University and Loyola Marymount University, Cole created and aided in the creation of more than 20 short films, many expressing his desire to show we are not alone in the struggles we face.
