Homecoming Festival Brings the School Together
Students, faculty, and alumni cheered on Lab Dragon Basketball teams at a Homecoming Tripleheader.
The Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Teams as well as the JV teams all played in the evening against the French International School. In preparation for the evening's games, the school day kicked off with an all-school Pep-Rally to hype up the Lab Dragons. Each team was introduced and cheered on by the other students.
The dance team hyped up the crowd as well with their routine that they would also perform during halftime of the basketball games. Jimmy the Dragon also made an appearance to toss Lab t-shirts into the crowd! The gym was full of energy, and everyone showed off their Lab School Spirit!
The basketball teams all played well against three very tough French School teams. Though each game was back and forth, the Dragons all ultimately came up on the short end of the score. Nevertheless, the energetic crowd was full of students, faculty, and returning alumni who came to show their support for Homecoming. Head of School Kim Wargo led a raffle with Jimmy the Dragon to give away fun prizes to the crowd, and Upper School students sold concessions to raise money for their prom. All in all, it was a great day full of Lab Spirit!
