JH Brings Great Verve to Campus on Virtual Plus Day
The Reservoir campus was full of life!
Junior High students and faculty had a full day during Virtual Plus this week! Students received fun, dragon-y Lab masks upon their arrival and were immediately donned by many.
During the day, each group had three rotations: touring their new classrooms in the gym, along with rules and safety procedures explained by Head of JH Jessica Lux; playing games with choices of Bingo with prizes (the reusable silicone straws in a case, stickers/journals, and dragon socks were popular prize choices), sidewalk chalk, and making the words “Junior High” out of nature walk with rocks, sticks and leaves.
One group played several rounds of KidChat where they stood in a large circle sharing something they were thankful for and each student also led an exercise/stretch for the group to all do. They even made up a TikTok dance!
Suffice it to say, there was a lot of positive engery … … with lots of virtual/air hugs!
