King George Time Travels to Lab from 1766
Junior High Democracy students were stunned by the surprise take over!
Who knew such a thing could happen on The Lab School campus?
Recently, Democracy class had a "classroom take over" in order to demonstrate, in real time, the Declaratory Act and the Townshend Acts of 1766.
Studying the lead up to the revolution, King George barged into Ms. Krieck’s class and declared that she’d been doing a terrible job running her classroom and, as King, he would be taking over!
No doubt the students felt the range of emotions of having their usual form of government taken away.
