Elementary e-News - January 12, 2020

Students in the Elementary Division love their Academic Club classes – so much so that they have found a way to incorporate Club with their STEAM class.  How are they doing this?  By using their time in STEAM to build a portal to allow them to travel through time to move in between Club classes!  STEAM students are using the Design Cycle to plan and execute their own Club portal designs.  Students first planned their portals by sketching out a draft in their STEAM notebooks.  They determined what materials and tools they would need to create these portals.  They will spend this week building their portals to see if they do indeed allow them to travel between each Club class.  Stay tuned!
